In New Global, Jarkko’s research focused on sustainable business models and institutional changes in the context of advancement of circular economy.
Background
Before New Global, Jarkko has studied risk governance of carbon capture and storage in Europe, potential for circulation-based industrial production in Scandinavia and the social implications of climate change in the Nordic peripheries.
In his doctoral thesis (2015), Jarkko identified institutional obstacles of industrial recycling and proposed new ways for overcoming them.
